Thuban - celestial snake and first star of the constellation Draco.
(so i animated a thing. used hayo mizaki’s ‘spirited away’ as a reference - obviously, because the animation and movement is gorgeous in that film. inspired by all the doctor who/star trek intergalactic feels. i liked the idea of a cosmic dragon, that it would literally be a kind of comet or shooting star when it flew…)
